The Helenites Sports Club Youth Academy would like to say thank you to everyone who participated in the recently held Massey Soccer Camp on St. Croix from July 17 to 21, 2023. This was the club's first year doing this camp and the feedback received was all positive and we will definitely be hosting this camp again next year.

First and foremost, thank you to the Almighty Father for giving the players and volunteers strength and motivation to host this camp.

Thank you to Massey Soccer Academy for allowing the club this opportunity to partner and host this camp on St. Croix. To all 38 children who signed up, thank you to the parents for entrusting the staff and coaches with your children. You guys are awesome!

To the caterers, thank you. The food was delicious! To subway, thank you for sponsoring sandwiches for Tuesday's lunch. Thank you to Caravelle Hotel and Casino for your contribution as well.

Thank you to West Indies Company and Cocoa Cola for supplying the event with Gatorade, powerade, body Armour and water on a daily basis for everyone involved. Thank you to Quickserve Gas Station for donating ice daily.

To the coaches from the MBP School of Coaches : Benny, Roger and Mark who flew from Spain to coach the players, thank you! We also appreciate the two-day coaching workshop that was conducted by Benny on July 19th and 20th. Thank you to all the persons who attended the workshop, we hope it was a great learning experience. To the USVISA for allowing the club to host the workshops in their conference room. To Damian, Raejae, Jaeden and Iba, thank you for being our assistant coaches and providing support to our main coaches. To all the parents who helped and volunteered their services, thank you. This would not be possible without you..

This camp was a learning opportunity for all players and coaches and for everyone to focus on youth development and how we can help to prepare them physically and mentally for the sport while ensuring the main objective of growing soccer in the Virgin Islands is achieved.

Remember the youths are the future.
